I have been extremely lucky in the travel I have been able to do. Here is a "menu" of reports with photos on some of the beautiful things I've seen, many of which I found interesting.

     In November 2023, I had an outstanding trip to India with Odysseys Unlimited. I would recommend
      them highly, and hope to get a web-page worthy of that extraordinary trip
      put together sometime in early 2024.
    Svalbard:  North of Norway. Midnight sun. Polar bears.
    Netherlands, Czech Republic, Germany:  Billy Elliot, and more. October 2015.
    Italy- Luxury, fine cuisine, and, oh yes, along the way: The concept of time: With Cornell Adult University.
      Parma, Bologna, villages nearby, and the summer solstice in San Petronius at Cassini's
      meridian. June 2014.
    India- To walk, and to see tigers:  With Iain Allen, Tropical Ice. Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Simla/ Shimla.
      February and March, 2014.
    Glastonbury, Somerset, England:  The Tor, Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve, Glastonbury Abbey. November 2013.
    Morocco- cities and mountains, desert:  Photography tour with Strabo Tours. November 2013.
    Churchill Manitoba:   Polar bears, and a special community. September 2012.
    Athens to Istanbul via Rhodes, etc:   A cruise with Tauck. May/ June 2012.
    Southern Africa:   An "independent traveler" trip I organized (with great
      help from Namibia Travel Connection!) to the Kalahari and Okavango in Botswana,
      and a lodge not far from Durban in South Africa. Meerkats and more. February 2012.
    Belize:    Trip with Cornell Adult University... Rainforest and then tropical island paradise. February 2011.
    Egypt:    Trip with Cornell Adult University to study this interesting country, not just the antiquities.
    We visited in November 2010... a timely preparation for watching the subsequent events there.
    Pacific Northwest:   Trip with Cornell Adult University to study and enjoy the ecology of the region. September 2010.
