How we travelled with Jungle Expeditions (Junglex)

Our "home" for the second part of our trip.

Note....
Most of top deck: covered airy space for relaxing... with bar.
At stern, next deck down: Dining room, with 180° glass enclosed view of surroundings.
Dining room and cabins air conditioned. Shower with each cabin.

One of our excellent guides, helping us to understand where we were going to go, what we were going to see. This on the upper deck of the Amatista, which was our general "chill out" area. Shaded. Comfortable tables and chairs. Refreshments.... and on some evenings, music provided by the boat's versatile crew, supplemented by our guides!

The splendid "Amaista" ("Amethyst"), operated extremely well by Jungle Expeditions. Note the "crow's nest"- marvelous for night star gazing on the occasional clear nights.

Our air conditioned, wonderfully windowed dining room. It was slightly surreal to watch some programs about the Amazon as the Amazon went past behind the TV.

With "civilization" so far away, it is as well that our hosts were multitalented... You see two guides, two cabin stewards.
