Afternoon of 17th....

Visit to front edge of third largest ice cap on the planet, where it calves off into the sea. The narrow band of gray sky at the top of the image is about a meter (39 inches) high. The part of the glacier face above the waterline was roughly equivalent to a nine storey building. (The bottom may have been supported on seabed.)

Just to the right of the B&W photo above is a sliver of the main image, with a little orange thing on the top of the ice. If you could zoom in, you could see that it is an image of a man's silhouette, to give you the scale of the ice wall.
