Flew out 19 November. Amazing sights en route, especially NW Afghanistan ("B"). The sights of Turkmenistan ("A") I actually saw on RETURN trip, after another enjoyable trip over Afghanistan.
Arrived Delhi (1), had an afternoon/ evening there before flying down to Cochin (3) on 20th, to join friends I would spend rest of trip with. They had been in India for a little time already.
(I'll give details of what we did in the south separately, in a moment.)
After adventures around Cochin, on to Chennai/ Madras area (3).
Then back to Delhi, but just to be collected by coach for long night drive down to Agra.
Next day: Enjoyed Taj Mahal in the morning, and Fatehpur Skikri in afternoon... and the drive to and from it was fascinating in its own right.
Train (again, an experience.... good!) back to Delhi (1)
Finally "saw" Delohi "properly"... and thence back to UK, departing comfrotably on morning of 30th.
(Details to come!!)

Note the village. This is the "populous" part of the country!

See the "dots"? I think they are access to underground irrigation channels.

Find any life? I couldn't. Far side of the moon.

This went on for miles, and miles, and miles. Perhaps... very rough guess... 20 miles shown lower left to upper right.

An amazing escarpment. Western edge of the wilderness shown in previous picture.
