This board is NOT yet available, sorry. But maybe the information here will enable you to make your owm, until I produce one?
I have been nibbling at the edges of this concept for many years. I've had a hand made board doing what I describe for quite a few years. (Just Working... as part of my home's burglar/ fire alarm system.)
I need to re-organize the material I've published. But until I get to that...
The main discussion of these ideas is currently one of the pages in my "sensors" collection.
It is also mentioned in documentation of my Far Watch premises monitoring software.
(Note-to-myself: AND there is information about my use of a copy of this circuit at NC in my private notes on such things.)
The following is just "a note to myself". POSSIBLY a way to invert the input to PCB227... and yes, it DOES maater which state on the input generates pulses, which leaves output steady in one state.
The inputs to PCB227 are only looking at resistance. Three cases are shown...
The basic, nothing fancy case. The text said, (w.t.t.e.): If switch is CLOSED, then PCB227 will go "on".
A transistor based case... that doesn't invert the signal
Lower right: Something that might work. The text was (w.t.t. e.) "If "B" ((base of transistor)) high... which happens is SW2 is OPEN, then PCB227 will go "on"... as long as the current through the base is not too high."
You are responsible for any consequences of using what is on any of my pages!
Please get in touch if you discover any flaws in the board, or any ways to go wrong. How are using it would also be of interest.
I would welcome news of any use you put the PCB to... especially if it comes with a photo, and permission to mention here. By all means give me with that any website, blog, etc, you want publicity for.
If you found this of interest, please mention in fora, give it a Facebook "like", or whatever. I've almost given up writing these pages, because it seems they are seldom read, and of course not every reader will use them... so... is there any point? If you want more of this stuff, help!?
