The arrangements by Tauck for greeting me at the airport in Athens, and the splendid the hotel they chose for us, right on the presidential square, augured well for the two weeks of wonderful travel ahead. The first meeting of all the travelers was an agreeable reception and dinner at 6pm... Which left time for some sight-seeing in the afternoon. I had been to Athens before, but on that occasion was unable to visit their outstanding "New Acropolis Museum". I was able to put that right on this trip.
