I hope you all got home again without too many hassles. Poor Sally didn't even get away from Johannesburg until after me, the penultimate departer. At the time I left, her take off was scheduled for 23:00. And I heard of some who had 44 hour trips home. Made my easy overnight "hop" north, essentially same time zone, seem too easy!

If you would be willing to share any photos, I'd be delighted to receive them. If they are for "my eyes only", just say so. If I can add selections to this website, so much the better. For one or two "specials", by all means use email. You don't need to compress. For a more generous selection, don't worry about editing, etc.... just stick what's convenient on a CD, and I'll wade through them. Send me an email when the CD is ready, and I'll give you a postal address. The address to use will depend on when you will send it.

I'd be particularly appreciative of two photos, both in connection with the fantastic experience some of us had with the wild dogs. My page devoted to that needs....

A photo showing an overall view of tree the leopard cub went up into, and the bush beside it.

Photos of the "Jurassic Park" beautiful vistas of water meadow filled with wildlife that were the setting of the dog experience.

These pages are a work in progress. Come back in 2009, see haw far I got before other projects pushed this to one side?

I'm struggling at the moment to get this website put together. When that's done, I'll try to produce a DVD with selections of my photos. In their present state they fill a dozen... literally... CDs. Sadly not all of the quality you see on the web pages.

Animals list: Because we split into so many groups, obviously our "animals seen" lists vary considerably. If you spot anything special that you saw which didn't make it to my list, please let me know?

Last, not least... enjoyed meeting you all. Perhaps see you again some day?!

Tom
